KRGZ is a radio station in the Rio Grande Valley that broadcasting a Top 40/CHR format. Broadcasting at 94.9 MHz, it translates its signal to K237NZ 95.3 MHz in South Padre Island. The station is owned by IHeartMedia, who also owns Urban station KPTY.
KRGZ was previously paired with KDGL 105.9 FM since their launch in 1976 until July 19, 2018 when KDGL was shut down, and KRGZ was greatly upgrated from a 50 kilowatt, 200 meter to a 100 kilowatt, 600 meter tower.
